Food Intolerance—Allergies & Sensitivities

Many of us deal with food intolerance—foods that give us trouble—and food allergies—foods we absolutely cannot eat. Our bodies may be completely allergic to a food, giving immediate allergies response, or our bodies may be sensitive or intolerant, and gives us various health symptoms or issues. The ALCAT test will help you identify reactions to over 350 foods, chemicals and other substances. This worthwhile test can help determine which foods are associated with inflammation that is linked to chronic health problems, such as:

  • Migraines
  • Aching joints
  • Fatigue
  • Gastrointestinal disorders
  • Eczema
  • Hyperactivity/ADD
  • Asthma
  • Obesity

The ALCAT Test: Food Sensitivity Testing

The ALCAT Test is the pinnacle of food sensitivity testing. It can tell you which of your foods will keep you happily fueled and which are your poisons.

This test is a highly sensitive objective test for assessing which foods you may be intolerant or sensitive to.  It won’t however specifically test for a classic or “true” food allergy. Therefore, if you already know that you have a Type 1 or IgE mediated allergy then you must continue to avoid those items. If you are in any doubt about these types of food allergies, please consult with your physician who can assist in identifying these types of “true” food allergies. It is rare that foods cause this type of classic allergy however—typically less than 5% of the population, but food sensitivities and tolerances are very common.

This test isn’t a complete medical program, but it will help you to stay in optimal health, alongside a healthy lifestyle and good preventative care.

*Make sure to use this test in conjunction with the advice of a qualified health or medical practitioner.
