Most people will suffer from an episode of back pain in their lifetime. In some instance these episodes will resolve with minimum to no treatment at all. However, there are many cases of back pain that need the assistance of a professional team of experts. Back pain is a complex problem that involves the alignment of your spine, as well as muscles, nerves,ligaments and discs.
Our philosophy as Advanced Wellness is to take a comprehensive approach. One size does NOT fit all. We have a proven system to guide our patients back to function. We begin with the most minimal invasive procedures and only use invasive procedures when necessary.
Spinal Decompression with the DRX9000 is one of the centerpieces of our care for serious back pain sufferers who may have conditions such as Disc Herniations or Bulges, Sciatica, Spinal Stenosis or Degenerative Discs.
Decompression treatments gently distract or separate the vertebra while you are comfortably lying on your back. This help remove pressure of the nerves and discs that are causing the pain. With a protocol that averages 24 treatment sessions over 8 weeks. We have seen a 90% success rate in our office. Many patients have cancelled scheduled surgeries and it has changed their lives.

How do I know if I am a candidate for Spinal Decompression treatments?
We need to do an examination and review any xray or MRI reports you may have.
How long do the treatments take and how many treatments will I need?
Treatments are approximately 30 minutes long and are very comfortable. Many patients even fall asleep during their treatment. The average program consists of 24 sessions spaced out over 8 weeks.
Who is not qualified to receive spinal decompression treatment?
Contraindications for spinal decompression include severe osteoporosis, bone infection or bone cancer, pregnancy, or a fractured vertebra.
Is spinal decompression covered under insurance?
Our spinal decompression program may offer partial reimbursement from insurance. The cost of the program ranges from 7-8 thousand dollars. With insurance participation, the cost can be as low as 4-5 thousand out of pocket. This will be determined at your consultation.
